A început Sesiunea Conferinței Generale a Bisericii Adventiste de Ziua a Șaptea. Sesiunile au loc o dată la cinci ani. Sesiunea actuală va avea loc în Atlanta.
Sesiunea a început cu câteva întâlniri cu accent spiritual care au avut loc miercuri seara și joi dimineața. Joi după-amiază a fost prima întâlnire de lucru la care s-au aprobat niște modificări în structura diviziunilor central- și sud-americane. De asemenea, diviziunile și-au ales delegații pentru Comitetul de Numiri. Acest comitet va propune azi, probabil, pe președintele bisericii pentru următorii 5 ani.

Hope TV – sunt diferite transmisii pe Hope Channel, Hope Church Channel, Hope International și Hope Europe.
În seara asta putem urmări de la 7 pe Hope Church Channel o emisiune care se va termina undeva în noapte și conține prezentările standurilor care expun acolo, interviuri, reportaje, etc. Pe Hope Channel Europe și International de la 8 se retransmit știrile zilei de ieri și câteva momente mai importante din ce s-a întâmplat ieri la Atlanta. Bineînțeles, totul e în engleză.
